| Artist Profile |
 |
I began my Art career in design and worked for several large publishing companies in the Boston area. For many years I designed children's books, packaging, marketing materials, and trade show displays. In 1993 I launched my own design firm and continued to produce work within the publishing industry for several years.
Oil painting had always been a desire of mine and in 1998 I began to pursue this. Through the Danforth Museum School and study with Michael Dowling, I was able to find a teacher and mentor whose focus is helping artists develop individual vision. Working toward that goal, I have been able to transition into oil painting.
"I like to become lost in a feeling or sensation when painting. A place that is not defined soley by facts but is rich in the knowledge of experiences. A dreamlike place that is colorful and comforting."
